...to fenali's very own Edward Elric tribute, filled by love of the unholy kind. As obvious as Mr. Shrimp is one of Fullmetal Alchemist's most respected characters, it's surprising how little attention is paid to him -- or to FMA fandom in general -- in terms of online shrinification. Thus I bring you Edelweiss in hope of making some amends, which will remain a work-in-progress as new FMA materials continue to be produced by the mastermind of Hiromu Arakawa.

Edelweiss is a type of mountain flower originating from Europe. Its scientific name -- Leontopodium alpinum -- is translated as "lion's paw", derived from Greek words. Strong, persistent, brave... quite symbolic of Ed's character, don't you think?
